Lynnwood Food Bank
The Lynnwood Food Bank provides groceries to families and individuals in our community. Families may come to the Food Bank every week to receive services which include canned and dry goods, meats, deli and dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, desserts, bread, and miscellaneous items. Each week’s distribution will be different based on donations received throughout the week. They receive groceries from: You, government commodities (TEFAP, EFAP, CSFP, FEMA), Food Lifeline, Northwest Harvest, Safeway, Albertsons, Costco, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Central Market, Cash & Carry, Sprouts, and food drives from local schools, businesses, churches, and individuals. The Lynnwood Food Bank is currently serving an average of 2,458 families and 8,675 individuals with groceries each month and are proud of the large percentage of fresh food that we are able to provide. Lynnwood Library: Sno-Isle Libraries
Sno-Isle Libraries serves Snohomish County and Island County. They have 23 libraries and serve over 800,000 residents. The library hosts many events, along with offering books, audiobooks, eBooks, and DVDs. Lynnwood Recreation Center
The Lynnwood Recreation Center is a public facility and doesn't require membership or have any joining fees. It offers many different amenities including locker rooms, recreational pool (with water slides, lazy river, water playground and family hot tub), lap pool (Sauna, adult hot tub and warm water therapy pool), Cardio/Weight Room, Fitness studio, racquetball courts, and multiple classrooms.
