Fort Worden State Park - Point Wilson
According to the Washington Trail Association this has 11 miles of hiking trails, including 2.5 miles of ADA-accessible trails. The park also has more than 2 miles of beachfront. At low tide, you can walk from Fort Worden to Port Townsend on the beach. Trails wind through the forest and around the many historic military structures on the site. Fort Townsend Historical State Park
Has over 6 miles of trails across the park with a view of the water, and winding trails through the forest. The park consists of more than a third of the original Fort Townsend, which was built in 1856 by the U.S. Army for the protection of settlers. Learn More

The museum welcomes visitors throughout the year to learn and be inspired by our region’s arts and heritage. They do this principally through long-term and rotating exhibitions that explore the history of this place and showcase work by local artists and curators. Port Townsend Aero Museum, Preserving Aviation History in the Pacific Northwest. Their collection includes a variety of antique and classic aircraft. They regularly fly those aircraft that are safe and airworthy. Restorations are performed in-house by an expert group of mechanics and volunteers. Their shop also performs contract restoration work.
